HOPE for Kids Summer Program (Grades: 3 - 6)

HOPE and Project Contact Summer Camp (formerly at Camp Bonnie Brae) joined forces to offer an exciting recreational and academic summer camp to 155 kids from Winchendon and Gardner this past summer.  The combined program was held at beautiful Camp Collier. If you have not had a chance to see it, it is worth a visit.

This six-week summer activity offers education, enrichment and fun for children entering Grades 3 through 6. Kids experience crafts, music, drama, cooking, science, computers, and daily individualized tutoring or academic enrichment under the supervision of HOPE\'s Academic Director.

Learning life skills, social skills, respect for each other and for people of different cultures is integrated into the daily sessions. Breakfast, mid-morning snack and lunch are provided.  The meals are provided through partnership with the School Nutrition, Safety, and Climate unit of the Massachusetts Department of Education.
